Materials

Made with 2.1–2.3 mm full-grain cowhide Napa leather from a tannery in Michoacán, Mexico. Chrome-tanned to create a soft, flexible leather that preserves the natural characteristics of the hide.

About the leather

Napa leather is known for its smooth surface and soft, supple feel. This green leather is smooth to the touch, with a rich color and natural variations that make each piece unique. Because the leather retains the natural characteristics of the hide, you may notice subtle stretch marks, wrinkles, or other markings. Similar to what you might find in vegetable-tanned leather, these natural variations are part of the hide itself and give each piece its own character. Unlike the other leathers used in our bags, this leather is sourced from a tannery in Michoacán, Mexico.

Feel & Aging

This is the softest leather in our collection. It has a thick, soft, almost chewy feel with a completely broken-in quality from the start. Unlike our black leather, which begins with a more structured feel, or our red leather, which has a more textured surface, this Napa leather is supple, flexible, and naturally relaxed. It drapes beautifully, giving the bag a softer silhouette and an effortless feel from the moment you start using it.
