About the designer

Yomahra González Jiménez, a Los Angeles-born leather artist and designer, lives and works in Mexico City. With over 15 years of experience, her practice is rooted in fully handcrafted processes where time, technique, and care are central. Each piece is carefully cut, sewn, and assembled using leather and hardware locally sourced from Mexico City and its surroundings.

In addition to her own collections, she has collaborated with contemporary artists to produce leather-based works that have been exhibited at institutions such as MCA Denver, SFMOMA, and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
